Task 2 - B - Qualitative Research

As part of this assignment, i took it upon myself to run a focus group about the follwoing Album Magazine Adverts (AMA). I asked the girls participating to rank  them worse to best, based on only the Poster not their opinion on the artist.By looking at the full video, both girls agreed that becaue of the trippyness and the idea of the pictures. the King's of Leon Album , The full video is availible below as well as the AMA's that were shown to the focus group.

Furthermore, i also asked the participants how the AMA's actually make them feel when looking at hem, such as emotions. both girls said that they felt engaged an interested when looking at the King's of Leon Album Advert, they were also said to have been drawn to the Rhianna AMA as it felt girly and pink, hey both believed it appealed to their target market like them.They also continued to take into account Text, Font, Image and colour when deciding when to rank the AMA from best to wors

Finally, I asked the girls, after looking at these AMA's, would they be compelled to buy any of them for their own personal use. One of the participants said yes, particularly to the King's of Leon, other participant respectfully said No.

We took part in an audience panel where me and my partner showed this video, History by One Direction, to our Creative Media BTEC Class, which consisted of 6 Students (4 boys, 2 girls) as well as Gabby and I as the panelists. We asked questions to the group such as "what are your opinions of the video" and "after seeing this, would you buy the single or like even watch another video". Other responses are in the video below. You can also see the original "History" video below (we stopped around the first  30 secs to ask questions)
